Institute of Transport Economics (T?I) is a national center for transport research. T?I has a multidisciplinary environment with some 70 researchers. Uppdragsgivarna is RCN, public administration, local governments and the private sector. Around a third of the department's business is international project, not least EUprosjekt. T?I housed in new offices in Research Park at Blindern and together with the University of Oslo and seven other department CIENS Research Center for Environment and Society.

Institute of Transport Economics searching for a skilled worker to the research field Travel Habits and mobility. Within this field, we work with various forms of passenger transport. The program includes studies of all types of travel, both private and commercial affiliates. We also study the social conditions of travel activity, looking at the interplay between physical and virtual mobility. Employees in this research area has a background in various disciplines such as sociology, economics and social geography. Whoever is hired, among others, will work with the analysis of national travel surveys. The person must master the quantitative analysis techniques, and there will be a great advantage to have experience with analysis of survey data.

T?I is a mission institute with close contact with Norwegian clients. It is therefore important to master Norwegian. We want an independent and resourceful staff with research experience.
