Bioforsk is a nationally and internationally competitive research institute with expertise in agriculture, food production, environmental and resource management. Greening Division has research and development in the Arctic Agriculture and Land as its main task. This includes fagseksjonene Arctic Quality, Environmental and Land Resources, Bioproduction and ecosystems in coastal villages and Northern Norwegian Center of Excellence. Greening Division also from Holt in Tromso, and has branches in Tjotta and in Bodo. Plant mikrobeinteraksjoner
We have a free three-year temporary research position (postdoc) any PhD scholarships for the speedy accession. The position is related to the project "Plant metabolites for healthy plants and healthy people". Main objective is to contribute to increased competitiveness in the northern vegetable production through new knowledge about how climate change and agroecosystems affects the formation of health beneficial ingredients in plants. The successful candidate in the position to examine how k?lplanters components, especially glucosinolates, affect microbial communities in soil, and the effect of different soil bacteria on the production of such components in plants. The project is a collaboration between the University of Tromso, Norwegian University of Science and Bioforsk and foreign research institutes.
We want you to have:
* Expertise in plant physiology, plant molecular biology and / or plant-microbe interactions in the doctoral any master's degree level * Good knowledge of plant cultivation * Good knowledge of standard techniques used in molecular biological research and / or analytical chemical studies * Good communication skills in Norwegian and English

The position is remunerated according to the national salary scheme, for applicants with doctoral stillingskode 1109, salary 57-64 (U.S. $ 438 700 to 499 700 per year), for applicants without a PhD stillingskode 1017, salary 45-56 (kr365 600 to 431 000 per year)).
