Department of Education and International Studies has a total of 3500 students and 300 employees and is located on Frydenlund area. The department provides general and Early Childhood Education and has several specialized bachelor studies and a wide range of continuing education. The department has a Master's degree programs in kindergarten pedagogy, multicultural and international education, primary education and in ICT-supported learning. The department has a multi-cultural profile.
If the department is now a vacant permanent position as a coordinator in the area of kindergarten (Early Childhood Education). The appointment is on a fixed term of four years with the possibility of applying the same position for two and four years, a total of 12 years.
Coordinator is in charge of the activities of their study program area. This includes responsibility for programs of study, research and personnel and financial management. The position is assigned personal responsibility for 25-30 employees. Programs is also responsible for monitoring the work of a number of fagseksjoner and for education overall tasks. Academic reports to the dean and with the department's management team.

It requires: - Relevant higher education at least hovedfags-/masterniv? - Relevant work experience - Leadership - Insight in the relevant disciplines - Analytical skills and ability of strategic thinking - Insight in financial management - Ability to achieve results and maintain good professional development and administrative - Ability to motivate, inspire and build relationships - Good oral and written presentation ability in Norwegian and English
Management experience and experience in relevant professional fields and / or R & D activities in higher education will be emphasized.
