Statoil Energy & Retail (E & R) Europe's communications department is a lean organization charged with the task of managing reputation / branding, change communication, public relations, internal communication and corporate responsibility (CR). We are responsible for supporting E & R business unit communication managers and their teams in their tasks, as well as leveraging this network to bring to life corporate initiatives throughout the European organization. E & R Europe Communications is searching for a project manager who will be responsible for participating in the communication strategy process, with heavy emphasis on the implementation and execution of that strategy. This involve developing communication plans and project plans for the tasks inherent in reputation management / branding, change processes, public relations, internal communication, CR, and strategic events. In addition comes management of outside resources such as design, event, or advertising agencies as required. The communications project manager reports two Karen Romer, communications manager, Europe.
Tasks
Key tasks for the E & R Europe communications project manager include:
Participate in the European communications strategy process
Share the responsibility with the European communications manager in Achieving the goals set forth in the communications strategy
Assist in following up budget and KPIs for communications
Assist in following up actions and measuring the communications team
Event strategy, management and coordination
Branding and presentations
Develop corporate presentations, brochures, reports, etc.
Develop and manage use of corporate display materials, films, giveaways, etc.
Manage development of corporate photo archive
Publishing: Publish press releases / announcements internal
Develop content for the internet / intranet, writing of internal / external articles and press releases
Participate in cross businesses / company projects
Qualifications
Bachelor / University level education in communications (and / or marketing / journalism)
Experienced communications professional
Project management experience from large communication projects
Experienced in strategic work - planning and driving processes
Experienced in project executions within budget
Experienced in both planning and production (writing, body icing events, making presentations, publishing)
Personal qualities
Excellent communication and presentation skills - in both internal and external communications
Innovative and creates results through effective team collaboration
Goal and delivery-oriented
Structured
Ability to meet challenging priorities
Proactive and self-driven
Fluent Norwegian and English
Microsoft Office, good general knowledge of modern media
