Description
Main tasks of the FSA is to ensure the health food safety and food production, good plant and animal health and good animal welfare in the whole chain from ground / sea to table. FSA is subject to the Fisheries and Coastal Affairs, Health and Human Services Department and the Agriculture and Food. The main office has ca.275 employees and is organized in 3 departments.
Regulatory Department currently has 65 full-time positions. It is responsible for strategy and policy development for regulatory work, the preparation of regulations, including work in international forums and contacts with industry, information and communication of establishing the new regulations.
Section plants, ecology, and GM is one of six sections in the Regulatory Department, and is located at ?s. The section is responsible for regulations concerning the production of intermediate goods for agriculture as seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, for plant health, organic farming and genetic modification.
Description of position
Job main work will be development of the Norwegian regulations and implementation of regulations within the EEA Section of responsibility area organic primary production. We emphasize collaboration and interdisciplinary problem-solving, and the successful candidate must also assist other employees in the section, with similar tasks in the disciplines, fertilizers, pesticides, GM, seeds and plant health.
Requirements for the position:
- Master's degree from UMB or equivalent university degree
- Relevant work experience
- Able to work independently and collaborate with other
- Good written and oral presentation ability
- Good Norwegian and English language skills
The following criteria will be applied:
- Expertise in the relevant fagtema
- Experience in public administration
- Be able to cope with a busy work
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, externally oriented, resourceful, results-oriented and solution focused.
The position is paid as a consultant (code 1434) in ltr. 48 to 65 (as ? 374,200 to 509,000). Applicants with broad and varied experience will be paid as a senior advisor (code 1364) in ltr. 58 -70 (per U.S. $ 446.700 to 558.000).
