NKVTS and RBUP East and South working together on a job for the statistician who will work in both the research:Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Health Region East and South (RBUP East and South) is a foundation that will contribute to the development, quality assurance and managing the scientific and clinical interdisciplinary knowledge and expertise in all key areas of work with children and Adolescent Mental Health . RBUP aim to ensure that such expertise is available through teaching, research, professional development and information activities. See www.r-bup.no for additional info. RBUP tasks included the annual allotment letter on the basis of Parliament's budget resolution. RBUP is a knowledge organization that engages more than 90 man-years and is organized in four departments, Research, Education, National skills network of infant and small children mental health and administration, as well as some projects. RBUP research department is given broad research papers, clinical research, epidemiology and research on preventive measures related to Child and Adolescent Mental Health. It is p.t 28 in research.

National Center for Violence and Traumatic Stress (NKVTS) was established in 2004 to unify and strengthen the competence in the field of violence and traumatic stress. The center will conduct research, development, education / skills building, dissemination and guidance / advice and help to prevent and reduce health and social consequences of violence and traumatic stress. The center will be internationally oriented and ensure that the expertise will benefit nationally. The research will be clinically relevant, occur in cooperation with local service in the field. The center has about 50 employees. Of these, 35 in research. The center has two fagseksjoner: one for children and youth and for adults. See www.nkvts.no for additional info.

The position will be central in the two institutions' plans to strengthen research in statistical methodology and research design. We will arrange for the person who added the opportunity to associate themselves with a professional environment in such statistics. in the form of an Affiliated to the Faculty. of Biostatistics, Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Oslo.

Responsibilities include:

    * Subject responsibility for the development of expertise in statistics at the guidance, consultation and teaching internal
    * Participation in planning / stimulation of new research projects
    * Collaborate on research projects
    * Custom research


Qualifications:

    * Both fagstatistikere and others with relevant professional background specializing in statistics are encouraged to apply
    * It is desirable to have the research expertise beyond the master / degree, preferably PhD or equivalent
    * It is desirable to have interest and / or experience in the areas of research RBUP and NKVTS covers
    * Good ability and experience in mediation and guidance
    * Co-operative and externally oriented
    * Trives with independent tasks and responsibilities
    * Wish to contribute to the exciting academic environment in the growth
