IRIS is an industrial research institute established in 2006 with origin in Rogaland Research. The company is owned by the University of Stavanger and Rogaland Research. The R & D activities at IRIS cover both commissioned research and basic research. Central special field is petroleum, gas and energy, society and environment. The goal is to fill the society's need for knowledge and idea generation and the industry's need for innovative solutions. IRIS commercial iced its work through its own subsidiary IRIS-Research Invest AS which has owner interests in approx. 20 companies.
Responsibilities
The position is part of Ullrigg drilling - and the well center's operations department with tasks relating to the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and development of systems and facilities. Partial responsibility in the projects and the construction of the test setup will be other tasks.
Requirements for competence
You must have a technical vocational school / trade certificate within well technology with expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics. Moreover, you need to thrive in as well as a coverall for office, and you must be able to work independently. It is also desirable to have knowledge of what it means to operate, maintain and test equipment related to drilling and well. Necessary training will however be given.
Experience
We are looking for a versatile and practical person with experience in similar environment.
We are interested in hearing from you with relevant experience and education. Good experience can replace the lack of education.
