Sula municipality has approx. 7600 inhabitants. The island of Sula is located south of ?lesund, and it takes approx. 35 min by car from the county center Langev?g and ?lesund. Vegsund bridge is associated event to the mainland. Two of the most important ferry service in our county, Solav?gen - Fest?ya which is part of the regular coastal road between Stavanger and Trondheim, and the ferry between Sula Straits - Hareid, which is trafikk?ra the outer part of Sunnm?re - Hareid, Ulsteinvik. Sula is located in other words, central to the sunnm?rsregionen.
