Elkem Salten is with its 170 employees one of the world's largest and most modern ferrosilicon plant with an annual turnover of about 1000 million. Elkem Salten has a modern technical facilities with three furnaces for ferrosilicon, silicon metal and microsilica. The work is of Nordland Municipality, 16 km north of Fauske, in beautiful surroundings that provide rich opportunities for outdoor activities.
To strengthen our maintenance department we are looking now for 3 mechanics
Responsibilities and tasks will be:
* Preventive maintenance respectively. plant's construction, cranes and filter system (one area per position)
* Area of Responsibility defined area
* Participation in projects and improvement efforts
* Join the officer on duty at home
* If possible, could participate in the plant's industrial
We want you to have the following qualifications and personal qualities:
* Craft certificate as a mechanic, industrial mechanic or vehicle mechanic, alternatively at least 5 years relevant experience within the aforementioned areas
* Driver's license, at least. B
* You must be a team player, but at the same time have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
* You should have good communication skills and a positive attitude and be results-oriented and systematic
* You must be able to work at heights
