Hytech Personnel included in Hytech group, and have a total of 30 employees and a turnover of 125 million in 2008. In our offices at Sola near Stavanger, we are six employees at any given time, approximately. 80 consultants
leased in exciting missions.
We mans daily assignments, projects, long term lease in addition to the permanent recruitment of mechanical, technical
and mercantile personnel. We cover assignments both onshore and offshore in Norway and abroad.

For our customer, KAEFER ENERGY, we are looking for a Lead Engineer who has knowledge of the fixtures, insulation, passive fire protection and surface treatment.
KAEFER ENERGY is a subsidiary of KAEFER, one of Europe's largest construction companies with an expected turnover in 2009 of NOK 13 billion and 16,000 company employees. KAEFER ENERGY is a leading supplier to the oil and gas industry in Norway in isolation, Access, Surface, and Interior. KAEFER ENERGY has an expected turnover in 2009 of 1 billion NOK, and carries out projects such as involving the Statfjord B / C, Snorre B, Grane / Heimdal, Mongstad and Gjoa.
Main Tasks:
* Supporting the project managers, project teams, joint venture partners and contractors
* Providing piping/layout engineering input to design basic documents, technical reports, schedules and plans, technical requisitions and contract documents
* Setting the standards for project specifications and contractors` activities on engineering- assuring the quality of the design
* Verifying and commenting on design documents from contractors
* Handle deviations/ non-conformances within the profession together with Technical Authorities
* Define the need for third party verifications
* Go through and recommend change requests
* Participating in reviews and audits
* Ensuring all necessary activities related to engineering are executed in a timely manner and to the right quality in order to meet overall project goals and objectives
* Verifying the design integrity of work carried out by engineering contractors to ensure that the proposed solutions are technically sound and meet operability and maintainability requirements
* Supporting the mechanical construction team in planning and execution
Qualifications:
* Be familiar with different classes of insulation, paint and PFP applicable to pipework and structural steelwork, and achitectual materials.
* Experience with piping ISO`s and P&ID`s.
* 5-10 years relevant experience.
* Exellent English language skills, oral and written.
* Preferable with technical education, but long relevant experience will be acknowledged.
* Good software skills, and be familiar with MIPS, Microstation, SAP, MS Office or other similar tools.
