IRIS is an industry-oriented research institute established in 2006 with rises in Rogaland Research. Owned by the University of Stavanger and Rogaland Research Foundation. IRIS Group consists of four departments, IRIS-Forskningsinvest and related subsidiaries. R & D activities by IRIS embraces of both contract research and basic research in energy, society and environment. The goal is to help you to fill community's need for knowledge and ideas and the industry's needs for innovative solutions.


Responsibilities
The position is part of Ullrigg drilling - and the well center its efforts in testing of equipment related to the well. The assignments will be related to the preparation of the test program and follow-up of projects from start to finish. You must, therefore, like to work with practical test work with the subsequent analysis and reporting. Maintenance and further development of our facilities are also important tasks.

Requirements for competence
We are looking primarily for a person who has general knowledge of the well equipment and understanding of what it means to test the equipment under varying pressure and temperature conditions. It will be given training in both use and maintenance of the facility.

Experience
We are interested in hearing from you with relevant experience. We consider an engineering / technical education in the petroleum / machine as the best starting point for the position. Long experience can substitute for lack of education.

You are creative, technically able, good to work in interdisciplinary teams and looking for professional challenges and development opportunities. In addition, you must be flexible, optimistic, positive, persistent and resourceful.
