Association Oslo region European Office is a multidisciplinary service and expertise that will ensure greater participation of its members in the European regional cooperation. Association members are county councils and municipalities in eastern Norway and Buskerud University College. Europe office conveys European contacts, offers skills-building, project supervision and targeted EU / EEA information. The office was created in 2003 and currently has 4 employees in Brussels and Oslo.
Oslo region European Office (ORE) is seeking a skilled and motivated Director to further develop our regional office in Brussels
Main tasks for the director will be:
* Daily management of the office and the secretariat function for the Board
* Support and motivation of the members of EU / EEA work
* Contact and networking to the EU / EFTA system
* Collaborate with other regional offices in Brussels
* Represent and Professional counters capital region of Brussels Environment
Qualifications
* Higher education at university or college level
* An understanding of the interaction between political and administrative level, as well as good understanding of municipal and regional administration
* Solid knowledge of EU / EEA cooperation
* Very good English skills both written and spoken. There will be an advantage to French or other foreign languages.

* Practice from international work

* Trives with a network-oriented working methods
* Have great capacity for work and able to work independently and structured

Some travel and attendance at evening events must be expected. The director added for a fixed term for a period of six years with possibility of renewal for a period.
