The Research Council is the government's key adviser in the research questions and benefits annually probably 6.2 billion for research purposes. Research Council creates meeting places for researchers, users of research and institutions that finance research. The Research Council is working with research and development in all disciplines and contributes to the internationalization of R & D activities.
The Research Council seeks consultant / senior advisor to the Department of Clinical Medicine and Public Health in the Division for Science.
Main Tasks
* Research management related to the Independent Projects (FRIMED) that include clinical medical disciplines and health sciences, health research, or other thematic commitment * Research strategic work for example, analysis and fact-based, investigations, hearings, mediation and international research
We are looking for people who
* Have higher academic education in relevant disciplines - health sciences, social sciences or natural sciences * Have good oral / written presentation skills in Norwegian and English * Is an independent, resourceful and determined worker with good cooperation skills and an exterior behavior
It is desirable that our new advisor has experience in research / study, research, management and / or public administration. Knowledge of medical and health sciences research, knowledge of the Norwegian research system and the health sector is an advantage. Personal fitness will be emphasized.
In the Research Science Division has responsibility for the long-term, fundamental research in all subjects and disciplines, and is primarily responsible for contact with the higher education sector. The division also has overall responsibility for health research in the Research Council and is also working closely with health authorities and health authorities.
